Lawn Mowing

How We Do It

Lawn mowing service includes the following: Lawns are mowed weekly or bi-weekly on a set date and time during the growing season. Lawns are checked for debris before mowing and care is taken to avoid valuable sprinkler systems. All walkways, fence lines, and bordered areas not accessible to mowers are trimmed. All sidewalks, driveways, and curbs are edged. Walkways are blown to remove loose grass clippings. All services are performed with professional grade equipment.

The price you pay is calculated by the square footage of your lawn. We will not upcharge you if you live in an upscale neighborhood with an HOA; the price of service is consistent and fair among the competition in the area.

Other notables while we service your property: If your property is being serviced and we notice an empty trash can on the curbside we will wheel your can to the house. We pick up kid and pet toys prior to our mow and will place them on the patio or porch. We will even replenish your dogs water if we notice the bowl is getting empty. These are just a few extra that will let you the customer know we will treat your property with the same aloha (love) as we treat our property!

Lawn Mowing and Watering Tips

It is recommended that you cut your lawn at the highest recommended height allowing no more that 1/3 of the grass blade to be cut. Cutting the lawn at lower than recommended heights will cause your lawn to be stressed. Centipede grass should be cut at a height between 1-1/2 to 2 inches, Bermuda at 1-1/2 to 2 inches, ST. Augustine at 3 to 4 inches, and Zoysia at 2 inches.

Watering your lawn at the right can make the difference between a healthy lawn and a mediocre lawn. The best time to water is very early in the morning before it gets hot. Most of the water will make it to the roots and allow the grass blades to dry quickly, preventing disease problems. Depending on your area, it is recommended that your yard receive an inch of water per week. This will allow the ground to dry promoting deep root growth.
